Your sky of shadows

To my love,
I know why you shun the night,
for i have discovered love is like the constant moon.
Which for you is ever inconstant,
Cycling at random speeds,
Each girl sets another moon upon your night sky,
Each love begins anew with her as a full moon in your eye.
But soon come the shadowy new moon in your eye,
All thought of love hidden in your mind,
So you cast her up into the sky,
Hiding in your sunshine world,
Hiding from the night,
The night sky so full of cast away moons,
Each in their own cycle.
I laugh when I think that I told you didnt know of love,
You do!
But you love too much!
Too infrequently!
Too quickly!
Till' you run into another moon,
And forget about the one before.
Oh but night must be torture for you!
All the love conflicting in your eye!
For I know for you,
In your night sky,
The moons so numerous there,
That the stars cannot shine!
I wonder if you can afford to love again.
Will another even fit in your sky?
But I welcome you to try!
Because though I have you also in MY sky,
I do not hope to keep you,
Anymore.
Because you see me as a new moon hidden for too often,
And I cannot live for that.
I do not hope for that I cannot have.
Even though far too much your moon cycles slowly slowly in my eye,
The full moon lasting far too long.
But I hide it now with clouds,
and stare instead at the stars.
Because my sky is far from full,
My moons still number so few,
I can count them on my hands,
But yours remains the largest by far.
I wait still for a new moon to come,
And a moon to outshine you in my sky,
But i do not hang hopes upon that moon,
No
the stars please me just fine
